Ozarks Electric Cooperative’s Right of Way Department rolled out some of their heavy equipment for the annual Touch-A-Truck event in Springdale, giving local families an up-close look at the machinery that helps keep power lines clear and reliable.

Curtis Hannah, safety and training coordinator for Ozarks Electric, recently visited West Fork High School’s Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing class to speak with junior and senior students.

Two Ozarks Electric linemen are in Guatemala as part of a project to bring electricity to a remote village for the first time.

Ozarks Electric, in partnership with Associated Electric Cooperative, presented Mountain View Meats, a local staple in the Stilwell area, with a grant through the Power 4 Progress program that will allow them to purchase a new oven, allowing them to keep up with their recent expansion.
