EV Charging Rate

With the Electric Vehicle Charging Rate, you can save money by charging your electric vehicle during the off-peak hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. daily at a reduced rate.

To take advantage of the EV Charging Rate, you must have a Level 2 charger and program it to charge during the off-peak hours. This is a time-based rate, and all electricity used in your home during the 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. period is billed under the EV rate, not just EV charging.

The first 400 kWh of total off-peak usage each month are billed at $0.055400/kWh. Any additional off-peak usage is billed at the standard rate. The rate also includes a rebate of $250 for a qualifying Level 2 charger.
