Things To Know

  • Have your new address.

  • Know the date you would like to start service.

  • Please call at least 2 days before you need service. In most cases we can turn on or transfer service in 1-2 days, but in unusual cases may take up to five days, as allowed by the Public Service Commission.

  • If you are applying for new service at one of our offices, you can save time by completing this form  before you visit.

Deposit

We require a $200 deposit for new residential accounts. We can waive the deposit with one of the following:

  • A letter of credit from your current electric company.

  • An acceptable credit score.

  • A guarantor letter from a current Ozarks Electric member stating they are willing to pay up to $200 if you leave with an outstanding bill.
